Our Goals

BeachRight engages ordinary citizens in science to understand our changing beach. By taking simple measurements, people like you can help create a large dataset of coastal measurements. Our goal is to enable predictions, inform public policy, and measure our success in preserving New York's beaches.

BeachRight works with property owners, community groups, public officials, and lawmakers at the state and local level to develop and implement laws and policies to ensure that the public's legal right to use and enjoy New York's beaches is clear. Our goal is to preserve that right. Now, and for generations to come.
